    Since you've taken the starter out before for the rebuild I'm guessing that you didn't forget to hook up either of the two wires. So, make sure that where the starter grounds to the engine block is super clean and shiny. Sandpaper or wire brush it till it sparkles!

    ebay pretty much always has starters. 24v for cucv's at $169.00 plus $18.00 shipping and handling. A lot of times it is cheaper to find someone in your area who rebuilds them. There is a guy near where I live who does the starters and the alternators and he has helped me fix other problems with...
