That's good to hear that this post helped you out. I learned alot as well. Not sure if I posted it on this one or not, but I ended up working on another two 802a units and they were exactly the same. Guess it's "the nature of the beast" . I tested mine on the house, backfeed, in preparation...

Hey, if they help sell the trailer they are gone.... I moved it to grass, deployed rear support and tightened everything down. Less vibration "heard" but you can definitely feel it on the ground and if you stand on trailer..haha

    Bad luck- govplanet 802a

Thank you. This was my 1st experience with a 802. So today I went to a seller's house who had two which hadn't been started in years. I got them running (great hands on practice) and they were EXACTLY like mine. So either all three are bad or as you say, nature of the beast. Thank you

    Bad luck- govplanet 802a

Been doing lots of reading here and loving my 803a that I've had a couple months. Someone said one MEP is never enough, so I pressed my luck and won the bid on a 802a with trailer. I thought great, I'd get the chance to play with it and see how I liked it in comparison to my 803 when hooked...

So I've only had it a couple months and THOUGHT they were changed out The first picture is the fuel filter, plenty of water and not much liquid came out. It ran better as I posted. Then the water seperator came in today and I swapped it. Notice light watery fluid as well. The right can...

    803a dies above 75%

Update: replaced fuel filter and it's better. Handles load changes better. ONLY stalls when going from 11,500 to 12,500w. Much better than before. I also found fuel bowl missing spring. So in the hunt for that. Then change the fuel seperator. Then I'll go from there. Lastly I'm going to...

    803a dies above 75%

Amp draw pics. I think it's overloaded and that's the issue. Should have stuck with 3 smaller heaters. Each leg 11.5/ 28.4= 39.9 per
