I took a look over on gamagoat.com and didn't really see anything that was a "how to" guide. Is it really as simple as pulling the 353 out and bolting in the 350? What about the fuel system? Exhaust, cooling system?
Can a different transmission be used? I know this is probably ruffling some...

I've only ever been in a soft top and they're obviously very loud. Any of you guys out there have a hard top version and is it a lot more quiet?
I'm down to choosing between 2, one's a 792 with a hard top and the other is a 561 with the soft top.
These are ALL excellent ideas BUT, you might want to take a look at selling it on ebay (the engine) for homebuilt aircraft use. Solar T62 turbines sell for quite a bit, I don't know about this one though.
A note on safety, there are parts than spin around in a jet turbine at incredible rpms...
I'm looking at buying one of several goats and one of them would be a good candidate for an engine swap out. I remember seeing one somewhere that had a 350 in it. Have any of y'all ever done a swap out like this and if so, what do you think after you did it, would you do it again?
I'm close to purchasing a goat and I'm going to use it as a camper. I remember com shelters on the ones we had in the Corps and think outfitting one as a camper would be comfortable and also retain it's military heritage.
Do you guys have any opinions? Do the shelters add too much weight?
