    Absolutely!! That is my goal as well. However for me, I’d like my living quarters to be removeable. Not sure that will work out for me though. If not. I may have to get my non cdl class E. If you look at semi trucks that were converted, usually, the truck it’s self were not physically...

    I am sure like anything, there's a million variables but I've read people suggesting Army are the quickest (days/weeks) while the Navy/Marines tend to take much longer.

    If you do not mind me asking, will you title the MTVR as a recreational vehicle (RV), not an offroad vehicle? how did you title your FMTV? Am I crazy trying to troubleshoot mine and drive it home or should play it safe and have it hauled? It's 200 miles away.

    Thanks for confirming. I bought a non runner so I’m trying to learn anything I can prior to my truck getting released as I’m still trying to determine if I’ll have it hauled to me or risk me driving the 209 miles there to see what I’ve signed up for.

    What you considering using or building as your new camper box? 20' shipping container? 12, 14, or 16 feet dry storage box? I havent seen these trucks in person yet but I believe even an 8 feet box would put it over height. I've read the bed is~67" high which would only leave 95” or 7’11’...

    that is an excellent question and point! I had not thought of that yet. maybe a long enough ramp or piece of wood and roll them on? find a hill or curb that will reduce the angle and height.
