    yeah that is the reason for my two 1/2 inch turnbuckels. My reciver is rated at 10000lbs and the turnbuckels are rated at 5000lbs each. The turnbuckels go to the truck at 75 degree angle to prevent side loading.

    never take the deuce through the mud puddels along the freeway the hidden ruts are much narrower than the deuce, you will almost break your arms and your two passengers will switch spots and end up sitting in your lap!

    the turnbuckles stabilize the winch sideways and just make it so there isn't 15000 or more pounds on one 5/8 pin. yeah it is a two person job for my setup! it weighs 150lbs

    the one i found was a pacbrake and it had a spring loaded valve so the higher your rpm the more exhaust it allows to slip through. how does yours sound? its got to sound good coming down a steep hill.
