My Son took Sarge to homecoming last night. Nearing 10,000 miles and recently installed new tires. Next we will have a 700R4 built so it can cruise the highway comfortably and add air conditioning. Other than that it'll stay stock. Hard to believe at one time he was even with the front bumper.
I have an M923 registered locally and insured by State Farm on a Commercial policy. I also have a class "C" driver's license. I don't haul for profit although I may pick up something on occasion from the local auction yard for a friend. My insurance covers towing and what I tow behind my truck...
Southmag, the M1151 in these pictures as well as the M1089A1P2 belonged to my National Guard unit. They were nice enough to lend them to me for the parade. If you'd like to participate in this year's, it's next weekend on December 4th. Meeting place is the student parking lot at Lee County High...
OP, I'll be more than happy to retrieve your truck. Please send me the details. I only need the tires to be in good shape and it can roll behind my M923.
This is going to sound dumb but sending my thoughts anyhow. What would he the downside of us reserving our usual cabins/spots in the main field? Would they ask us to leave? I know it may take some time to put together an alternate venue but I'm considering going with my usual cabin and setup...
I removed the resistor from the firewall, enlarged the terminal ring from the wire that hooks to the driver's side of the resistor, attached it to the main 12v stud next to the glow plug solenoid and installed a set of AC 60G's about 8 years ago and never had a problem since.
Good deal, I don't look in the transportation needs section as much as I should but member Welder1 and myself normally help move stuff in Albany when asked. I hope you got a good one.
The weather was great and the date change only prevented one of my friends from attending but he would've been there if he knew earlier. As for Eli's comment about people acting like jackwagons on ATV's, I hate they don't enforce curfew as well but no matter how heavy a police state they...
Safe trip home, lost the alternator belt with 160 miles to go but the batteries held up fine. Welder1 and my buddy Steven texted they made it fine as well.
Last minute request. Does anyone have any interest in hauling an M1102 trailer to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the port? The gentlemen who purchased it goes by Stinkmarder on this forum and he offered me $500 to haul it. I have no interest in taking it down there but I can pull it to the Rally...
Recovery, Put me down for it and let me know a way to pay you before the Rally. My youngest son wants my CUCV to be his first vehicle and an overdrive transmission will be a well needed upgrade.
Swiss,
I'll take the 2 used 14r20's. My fronts are cupping and 60% is probably about where my rears are. 200 each or for the pair? Gotta make sure I have the right money in the envelope.
