If you can get 24 volts to the selonoid on top of the fuel pump (the one that opens to allow fuel to the injectors), the engine will start by jumping voltage across the starter selonoid.
I have been starting my M934 like this for a few weeks now, until I can get a replacement PCB.... I'm not...
Augdog,
Erik's surplus sells them:
www.eriksmilitarysurplus.com/elcoboxform9.html
at $345 they are a bit pricey.
I have seen them for sale on ebay and a few other places, but no where that is readily and usually in stock..
Happy part hunting!
Dave
Call me a necromancer, but I think my question is best added to this thread, instead of creating a new one....
The Gov't had disconnected the batteries and starter switch in my new (to me) M934. I pulled a couple donor batteries from one of the deuces I have, and pulled the wiring diagram to...
Hey Guys/Girls,
My plan right now is to drive an M35A2 over to Haspin early Saturday morning. I may or may not end up camping....
Don't count on me for food, if I stay I'll take care of my own food (and liquid food!).
I may or may not be able to talk a few guys into coming, one that drives...
If your route brings you through (or near) Columbus IN, I have a medium, along with gladhand air lines if you don't have them.
We can likely work out some sort of reasonable trade......
PM me when your timing firms up and we can talk details.
Dave
Glen,
Any interest in banding just the transfer case and protective control box to a pallet for me? I'd be happy to make it worth your time (money would be better spent helping out an SS'er than putting it into the fuel tank of my pickup!)
If you have a few minutes, give me a call. (270)...
I can imagine the hard tops not packaging very well at all!
My immediate need is for the transfer case and control box. Will they package?
Thanks,
Dave
Seth,
I had the exact same problem, but I saw the "rough ring" the second time I took my front axle apart.
My thoughts were exactly like Ray's above (post #2) but when I took it to a machine shop, they quickly pointed out that the splined end was much bigger than the ground surface we were...
Jdknech,
I'll be heading to Laurel, but leaving from Columbus IN (MM 68 on I-65).
If my timing lines up with yours, we could head the rest of the way together.... My plans haven't firmed up yet, but I'll likely leave Friday evening or early Saturday morning.
PM if you think it might work...
I know you hadn't wanted to pull and ship the case, Thanks for hanging onto this one for me!
Any chance (since its already pulled) I can talk you into strapping it on a pallet for pickup by a shipper? I would absolutely love to make a trip and spend a few hours playing at the "toy...
Glenn,
I recently purchased an M939 series truck with a busted transfer case (split wide open!). You had mentioned you would sell one a couple weeks ago.
Any chance you had one stashed when they came to clean you guys out?
As I get further into this truck I notice a few more things that I...
Interested? OHH YEAH, I'M INTERESTED!!
Where you thinking a trip to your place after trail riding, or before or after the mini rally? Any time your willing to let me drool, I'm interested!

Still having problems...
If I created the thread in the wrong forum on purpose, can I move it after I create it? Could can a mod move it for me?
Thanks,
Dave
