    low air pressure switch

Your local heavy truck dealer should have what you need. Most for commercial trucks kill the buzzer and/or light @ 60-70psi.

    Alternative to Bobbing?

The steering axle idea isn't bad, until you consider that the carriers won't line up close enough, for proper driveline angle. The next consideration would be to use 3 steering axles, and lock the center axle, or configure the rear axles to countersteer, like the HET trailer. That, in itself...

    Over Drives

I'm guessing it's an early Gear Vendors Unit. Their units were based off the Laycock, versus the US Gear units, that work more like a 2-speed axle. Don't give up that adapter. Gear Vendors wants $500 to trade.

    Has anyone turbocharged their CUCV?

I am told, by the diesel guru I used to bend exhaust for, that a 6.2 will see more gains from headers, open exhaust, and an early 6.5 mechanical pump, than from a turbo. That's just what I'm told.

wig wags on a Deuce Fire Truck

I've got one of these for my Deuce. Mine is a 650205. I'm running 12v, but the literature says 12-24v. Intelli-Flash Flashers | Flashers & Strobe Power Supplies

    Packrat's Bobbed Deuce Insanity

Sorry for the lengthy delay in my progress. Just about had the motor & installed, whe I was presented another option. Consequently, I've been pondering my options for a while. I was going to install a TBI 350, for power. I recently stumbled across a guy who has a couple Olds 455's that he...

Need Advise on Removing Steering Box

When you put it back together, snug that one down first. The countersunk head seems to function as a locator, for the side cover. I still need to install my limit switches on my cover, but at leat the box doesn't have to come out, again.

Need Advise on Removing Steering Box

It's a countersunk allen head. I had the same issue, when I was cutting down the shaft, for my rear steering box.

    Sprag Clutch Rebuild / Repair

As it turns out, I got lucky. The guy I got my Deuce from had an airshift t-case laying on the ground, out of another truck. Got a smokin deal on it. Great. 1 more thing I gotta do, before it's roadworthy.aua

    More Deuce info./help

If you are worried about the differentials, pull the axle shafts. If your wrecker buddy doesn't have the plastic hub caps, here's a trick I've used on the side of the road, before. Tape across bottom half of the hub flange. Be sure to leave enough tape, to lay over the side of the hub a...

    Deuce Axles

Retreat, re-assess, re-engage. Classified is gone. I'm not re-listing it. If anyone who saw it is still interested, PM me and I'll get Mark's number for you. Bear in mind, I'm still not the salesman, just the messenger. All haggling is between you & him. Now back to your regularly...

Sent you a PM. I'd like to get this squared away, before it gets out of hand.

    Deuce Axles

Forget I mentioned any of it. I'll just tell him selling anything is too much hassle, and they should be cut up and scrapped. I was warned about the forum moderation, just after I signed up, here. I didn't believe it.

Has anyone built a big slide-in "truck" camper for a M35 Deuce?

Height may play in, but what about a van body, from a 1-ton delivery truck? I say 1-ton, because I see very few 2-ton trucks under 16-18'. I've got an 18' van body, that I was planning to put on an rv frame. I'm thinking now about something like you are considereing, where I can load it onto...

    Deuce Axles

Maybe this actually belongs in the Salvage Yard Info section. I didn't know it existed, until after I was informed that I should have posted this in the classifieds, instead of here. Then I was informed that a 2nd party listing doesn't belong in the Classifieds. When I went looking for the...

Civilian seats that work for the M1009 K5 Blazer?

Unless Im mistaken, K5 Blazer, and Suburban, front seats are interchangeable. Don't know about the rear/intermediate 'Burb seats. IIRC, pickup seats won't match yoour floorpan. Although, it could be possible to switch the lower mounting brackets, as they are normally riveted on.

    2010 Kansas Steel Soldiers rally

Just checked my schedule...On-Call that weekend. Dangit. Put me down for: I would, if I could, but I can't, so I won't.

    Sprag Clutch Rebuild / Repair

There's something else I didn't consider. Is it possible to switch the gears, so the front pulls more, like a civilian 4x4?

    Military or Civi wrecker?

Honestly, the chassis probably hurt you more than it helped. Aside from that, very few professional services have any use for a mechanical wrecker, anymore. The 750 was an industry standard, once upon a time. Unfortunately, that time is long gone. If it hasn't got an underlift, and...

    Sprag Clutch Rebuild / Repair

Anybody got a T136-21 breakdown, or pics of a rebuild job? I'd like to pull the front cover off & see what I need to fabricate to make a part-time case. I've already got $600 in lockouts, which it appears, are now realistically useless. OR...Anybody got a pic of what came in the Memphis REB kit?
