    CUCV and EMP Prep

Don't like the sound of that, did I piss someone off? If it's going to be some sort of ****show, just don't bother. I'll take my questions someplace else.

    CUCV and EMP Prep

I did read that and don't necessarily disagree as I'm not educated in the field. However, I intend to buy another vehicle anyway so figure I might get something that covers this issue just in case. I'm also considering a CJ5 or CJ7 as they're easy to get, parts easy to find and with some...

    CUCV and EMP Prep

Good Morning, I've come across a CUCV a friend is selling and wonder what it would take to make it an EMP-proof vehicle? I'm still getting details so sorry for vagueness; I do know it's a diesel and pretty certain a M1009; early 80's. He said there are virtually no electronics onboard but it...

Tire source for M116 or M116A1 trailer

Kinda figured that might be the answer....or do I wait and hold out for a M101A2 or A3? I'm looking at the M116 to save weight but keep thinking I might need the bed rather than a flatbed. I've a 6 cyl FJ Cruiser. Yours is nice BTW.

Tire source for M116 or M116A1 trailer

I'm still trying to figure out which trailer to buy; one needs tires the other doesn't but probably will before too long. Just gauging difficulty/price of replacement vs. buying another trailer available that has more standardized tires...the M116A3. It needs tires now. Still torn on the...

    M116 and FJ Cruiser

Will I be able to pull it safely? It's the A1 version, no surge brakes....although there is an A3 version available locally too. I just assumed that one might be heavier. Will be using it for camping and road trip mainly. I highly doubt it will ever see loads for which it's designed really.

    Trailer ID help please

Would I have a problem towing it with a 2000 Landcruiser? It looks like a good trailer and I'm not concerned with bows, nor canvas. Just want to be sure I can tow it OK without surge brakes, the weight of it....and if it will track ok.

    M101A transport questions

Pricey....what's your opinion? Buy some cheap magnetic lights to get home and then rewire at some point or pay the 90 bucks for this?

    M101A transport questions

Must be me but I can't find the adapter on OD Iron.....any other sources? I'd just as soon buy the adapter and not mess with new lights, new wiring, etc. unless I have to. They don't inspect here in Arkansas so I have to think I'm good if the lights are a little dim.

    M101A transport questions

Hi, I am the literal 'newb' and perhaps pulled the trigger a little too early on it but....I won the auction in Hooks, TX and will need to pick it up. So, here goes..... I have a 2000 landcruiser and wonder about a couple of things relating to getting it home. Will the lights hook up or do I...
