Thanks, I kinda guessed that but I have never seen them in action(M880)! The 715 feet have come in pretty handy, I have several 715s and the feet are easy/quick to use.
Years ago I got in a P match with Gov. Liq. as a consolation prize I received a large box of new tow bar feet, over the years I have used most of them but this one pair is a little bit of a mystery, I think they may be M880 related but I am just guessing. I am talking about the ones laying on...
I found it in with a bunch of stuff that I think came out of my 6217 maint. truck. I have seen other jack handles with the j hook attaching point, I may even have one laying around? First thing to do is to break it free, I have Kroiled it to no avail!!
Thanks for the ideas.
I have a military scissor jack, origin unknown, that is very heavy duty and would be real handy, but I don't have the handle and the way it hooks up looks odd. Does anyone have any ideal of how this handle may have looked. If I can get an idea of how it attached to the jack I can fab up...
I am now down three 14R20s on my wrecker, 16R20s seem plentiful not so much for 14s. Any mods need to be made to switch over to 1600s? I can pick them up mounted for $200 or less. The truck moves about 50 miles a year at most on mainly in the pasture.
I received this PTO in trade twenty plus years ago, found it when I was moving storage areas. Other than it being rebuilt at Tead in '92 I don't know much more about it? Any experts available?
I have my 936A2 on display at the local military museum, I crank it monthly and let it run for an hour or so. We received a C130 for display which came with about 2,000 gallons of JP8 we had to dispose of before we mounted it. So the wrecker has full tanks, so no need to fill for months! I...
As I was moving some of my stored treasure I found this test set, it looks to be in really good shape. I have no recollection of it at all, so no Idea where I got it. Anyone ever used one, my electrical skills are on par with my dancing skills- nil!
The Arkansas Air and Military Museum is in line for a duster from that East coast museum they are closing, or at least they told us we were first in line since we gave back two Cobras gun ships this year. Also, Camp Robinson outside Little Rock has two on display, one as a gate guard and the...
Looking at the photos I have found of the M2 it does look like it. I wonder why no ID on the winch at all! The only marking on it is the oil level noted?
