thanks for the info. i guess the next step is to go the DMV and ask.
here in hawaii, anything under GVWR 15k lbs is exempt from a CDL. anything 15,001-26000 lbs GVWR requires a Class 4 license...which isn't a CDL, but is above a regular license....just more requirements....physicals, tests...
if the M-105 springs are used, then i guess you can get an accurate load rating...but if the front M35 springs are used, is there somewhere that states what their capacity is? also, who "verifies" this when buying/making a bobbed deuce? just wondering before i really start looking for one...
hey folks,
i did a search and couldn't find any info on what the GVWR becomes after a deuce is bobbed.
anyone know?
looking into the local laws where i live and trying to see what i can and can't do.
thanks.

i just saw the pictures of one yesterday....apparently there's a guy selling one, or has been trying to sell on for a while and someone posted it up on a thread...can't find it now for some reason...
i was telling myself to book mark it...and didn't...
dunno about Z cutting....i'd still like...
hey folks,
newbie here...and no i don't have a deuce yet...but what got me hooked was the bobbed deuces.
i was reading a thread about someone selling a bobbed 6x6....folks were hate'n on it, but i thought it was pretty cool...tonka truckish... don't flame me too badly..
just wondering...
