61 REO M35 Brake line questoin

I have a '61 REO Gasser M35, and I need a new brake hose from the frame to the axle. The TM for the M35 A2 lists 7373247. Will this fit the older M35? the thing that has me worried is that in the "Deuce Parts Quick Referance Spreadsheet" there is a hose P# BH41221 listed as an O'reily part front...

    Registering a Deuce in Arizona

I went with Hagerty colector car ins. When seting up the policy I was able to choose the number of miles I plan to drive, 3500 in my case. That gives me a little over 65 miles a week. You do have to have a place to store it, like a barn, pole barn, garage, ect. And they did want photos of it in...

Using a Multifuel turbo on a gas engine

I know this is a month old thread, but here's my gasser with a turbo. I run 6 PSI on pump gas. T-3 turbo off an Isuzu diesel, and a 650 holley. I haven't checked the gass milage yet, but now I can stay in 5th on most of the hills around here. I'm working on a cummins for it, but that will most...

    Registering a Deuce in Arizona

After the fact, I did a quick search and didn't find much about this in AZ. Anyway, last month I finally got around to registering my deuce. I went to the closest MVD, in Show Low AZ, and visited with one of the cheerful agents to register my truck. The first thing she asked was what the GVW was...

stock engine replacement or repower with something else

This is a really interesting thread, as have always considered swapping out my gas engine for diesel or multi not the other way around. I have ran several 1 tons with BBC 454 engines, and when loaded around 16000lbs they get like 8mpg if you are nice and don’t push it. And if you do push it, you...

    Taller Gargo Cover

Varyag, I like your top. When I saw your photo, that I copied for the first post, I looked up the other posts you had on your top install. That is what got me thinking, I couild build that. I also like the pop top idea.

    Taller Gargo Cover

If I do build my cargo cover from scratch, I could make it 6.5 feet or so, but I don't know if I want tan or OD canvas. Any votes out there for color?

    Taller Gargo Cover

Taller Cargo Cover I'm thinking about building my own cargo cover for my Deuce, I like the LMTV top that Varyag put on his Deuce, pictured below. I am wondering what some of you may have to add as input on building my own LMTV style cover? I am 6'2" and would like to stand upright in the back...

    New Member in Northern AZ

I'm new to the site, I live in northern AZ, and own a M35 Gasser. As I get further along, I will have plenty of questions about it. My past MVs include a '45 MB, and a '51 M38. I curently own a "Free" '61 M35, and an early M38A1 that is titled as a '64 reconstructed vehicle.
