    Of course I should have known you would be all over the ebay thing. I just found another ambulance this week with a GV overdrive, but just a 2wd & C6 adapter. Sorry. Watch the ambulance crowd. Lots of GV units there.

    A few more pictures. The blue truck is a 1991 Ford extended cab F250 4x4. Sort of looks puny next to the CCKW.

    Goes by "toystore4men" on ebay. He ships out of Santa Clara. He has various GV adapters, but nothing listed right now. You will have to email him.

    Check ebay. There is a guy who shows up sometimes who sells GV adapters. IIRC, he is out of California. I believe they run about $250. I found one for next to free off of an older ambulance/SWAT vehicle being parted out locally. Check craigslist for these rigs.

    I use it mostly for just fun. I loaded 2 tons of gravel in it the other day and could not notice much of a difference in anything, but it was probably overloaded - certainly for braking with hydrovac single circuit vacuum brakes... The Washington State Patrol fully inspected it and licensed it...

    It does look nice. I have owned a couple of CCKWs. The worst issue is drivability. 45 mph top speed, but only if you have nerves of steel.
