has anyone ever converted their 101 to a different axle and put the 6 lug 1009 wheels on it? recently got a m1009 blazer and it is currently the only truck without a trailer, so thinking a 101 variant but convert it to accept same wheels as truck towing it, the 1009 blazer, seems simple enough...
to revive this tread. acquired one of the deuces we put the 177's on quite a while back, it hasn't had the cast mods, it was disabled by some scrappers steaking all the copper out of it, lines, and battery cables etc. so i had to tow bar it home, let me tell you, that's some scary S***! every...
when servicing the rea pintle hitch i found that the bolt that the lock pivots on is same thread as crank bolt, could possibly used as installer in a pinch
Got balancer on. New seal in. All back together. Surprised how smooth this thing runs now. Before at idle it would start to shake do bad I thought the steering wheel would fall off. Smooth as a new ford fusion now. Had to make a tool to press the balancer on. Putting the air compressor belt back...
cant find it anywhere. looked through tms, don't see anything.
front balancer bolt for and ldt multifuel.
just tighten down as tight as i can get it with lock tight on it and install the lock plate?
need to move an m135 about 25 miles or so. flat tow it with a tow bar as soon as i get the balancer on the m35 replaced. Can i just take the drive shaft out from between the trans/transmission instead of puling all the other shafts? o is it harder to get at?
also saw that the front tow bar...
is it possible to just pull the shaft between trans and transfer case easier than all three shafts? asking because i am getting ready to tow on myself.
so far a 3/4 20 thread fits the intake elbow fine, but that project is on hold,,,busted balancer is now being replaced.
a m20 1.25 is also very close, both seem to screw in and tighten up, choose which ever off ball ya want, im drilling it out and putting a fitting in for other purposes actually.
