Have 2 used ones taken out of M-1009's prior to turn-in to DRMO. One had a blown engine, the other a bad tranny. $ 15 plus S/H sound OK ? edmartis@netzero.net
I had the same problem and was advised by the local CA National Guard truck shop (the person I talked to had been working on CUCV's since they were new c.1984) to get a Borg Warner S 55 glow plug relay. I did and have no problems since.
Thanx for reply. Am I right or wrong in thinking that GM p/n is for civilian as well as military M-1009 ? I was told by the local CA National Guard Maint. truck shop that the glow plug modules were different p/n's .....Bad advice???.......
I had always thought that the glow plug modules were different be tween a civilian and military Blazer so how did an Oldsmobile p/n get into the chicken coop ??? Does anybody know how this came about???
