    My M915

Welcome to the club! Miss my m915a1, she was awesome and I really liked the look. I have a m915a4 now. Good luck with her! The headlight switch is usually an issue the stock one was barely able to handle the load. Highly recommend putting in a heavy duty one or adding relays. Mine would leave...

The official 2023 Southeast Military Vehicle Rally information thread (the event formerly known as the Georgia Rally).

I'm keeping my calendar clear- I've missed what, the last 3 or 4? Going to drag EMD with me. He retired, so no excuses now. Probably won't have time to get the deuce ready, is there a place to park a semi? might bring EMD's WC and my M37 on one truck.

    M915a4 speedometer help

Hey all! I'm loving the M915a4. Just did a 1,600 mile trip from SC to NY to retrieve some track equipment I purchased at auction. I have a question for another M915a4 owner- can you open your dash and let me know what the din switches are supposed to be on the back of the speedometer? The...

Hose that connects fuel tank and filler tube.

I just purchased a foot of large size radiator hose from Napa. Has worked good for the last 6 years.

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

Just pulled the check valve, seems clear and operating in each direction properly. New lift pump, same issue. Going to hook up a Jerry can tomorrow night. (Fill it on my way home from work)

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

I can try the fuel can method, and like you said, remove as much out of the equation as possible. The new lift pump is supposed to arrive Thursday. I'll be in NC working on trains this weekend so it will be next week for the pump. I might rig a hose and jerry can this evening.

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

Right, which is why I changed every hose with brand new.

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

I did check that and they are all free.

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

Good thought, I just double checked them. They look in the clear. I was having this issue before replacing the tank and lines. I (rightly so) assumed the tank was gunked up and the sock was plugged.

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

I have taken the cap completely off, and it still does the same thing. Filler neck is completely open to the tank and atmosphere. The tank is not getting a vacuum on it. I did use my AC vacuum pump, a piece of plexiglass, and a hose and the cap vent does vent under vaccum. I know how hard the...

    Fuel system drawing a vacuum

I have tried it with the cap loose and off completely, same problem occurs. Got a replacement lift pump on order, no one had the right one in stock locally.
