the tires are McCreary superlug 9.00-16 and they will last a long time ,they are hard rubber with a super heavy duty side wall .i think the biggest problem will come from U.V. damage.

the tires on my trailer are McCreary tires they were brand new with the nubs still on. the lug depth is at least 1-1.5 inches so unless i drive a million miles i dont see them wearing out soon.

thanks everybody . no i did not get a travel permit as i dont think that ca. deserves the money for one .i just used the plate off my other trailer. oh yeah i also have more invested in the recovery than the initial cost of the trailer .but i have no regrets it will pay for itself in no time as...

here are some pics of my 400.00 M101A1 picked up last week from barstow. 840 mile round trip 420 for the trailer one way plus i camped out in the desert and did some 4 wheelin and gold mining with a friend . all in all a painless trip. and also the trailer had new rubber and no rust top and bows...

yes the trailer comes with the top and bows and from the "pics" they look to be in "good shape"(we will see). but now i have to finnish putting a new clutch in my truck for the trip.

HELLO: I was wondering who determines if say a 2 1/2 ton truck does not start. is it the motor pool personel or GL people who determine if somthing does not start?and what is the process of them trying to start a vehicle? what i mean is do they just get in and turn the key and if it does not...

well i won the m101a1 that i bid on.maybe i paid a little much for it but thats life i wwill know better next time and have more self controll and less of a competative nature on bidding . 400.00 is not hte end of the world and its a lesson learned. and my euc cleared in a week and a half...
