A quick question, which thread sealants do you use for fuel fittings etc on your vehicles.
I am about to bypass my FDC and want to plug up the holes instead of looping the fuel lines. I don't realy want to use Teflon tape and would rather use a paste or liquid sealant.

Installed my egt and boost gauges, drilling and tapping for the egt probe wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be, also removed the small plug on the intake manifold to connect my boost gauge to.

I just found this picture on here of the flame heater fittings (circled), but noticed on my truck that they are reversed. The TM also shows them in the configuration in the photo. So my question is does it mater or will it cause any problems.
Have you got a cup like retainer on both ends of the springs, if so they have been assembled incorrectly as there should only be one retainer on each spring and a cup like washer on the lower pin as highlighted in diagram.
