Are they oem lights or aftermarket? I had aftermarket lights go bad in about 6 months and it fried my 3 lever switch. Bought OEM lights and a new switch and it worked.
I was planning to remove the hood, but can I just hinge the oil cooler out of the way?
I’m also curious how you’d do it without removing anything? From underneath maybe?
I need to replace the fan clutch on my truck. This is a REV model with the extended snout and geared fan drive, so it is different than most.
I need to remove the radiator to get to the fan clutch., and I need to remove the Oil cooler to get to the radiator. The Oil cooler does engine Oil...
I’ve loved my humvee project since buying it two years ago. I want to get another one, a REV non-runner, as a bigger project. I’m just wondering how long I can wait before the auctions come to an end?
A non runner I assume?
Another Q - what happens with all the parts just floating around in the backseat? Obviously I’d want those to not blow away on the highway. What will happen with stuff like this?
What prices should one budget when shipping a truck from auction? I paid 1800 a few years ago, but that was a running truck and going through a big online shipping company.
I’ve been shopping the auctions and should know what to expect for shipping costs. I’m 7hours from the Georgia location...
You really went all out. You must have sound proofed inside that console? What did you use?
Did you put anything on the engine side of your tunnel or doghouse?
I am still in aw (and really jealous) of your decibel readings. I suspect that simple shifter boot made a big difference, I think a...
Well it’s too late for me to use resonix brand, unfortunately. but I wish I had known the cost difference, while significant, seems worth it. The Siless branded buttl liner I put down didn’t really seem to do much.
my noise comes almost 100% from the engine. What did you do around the...
That’s a shocking result. Really hard to believe actually. I did something similar but I used mlv instead of plywood. I’m still at 72 db idle and 87 db on the highway.
I have found the pertinent pages (at least some of them) finally. for future googlers - TM 9-2320-387-24-2 in the links above (Hummerpartsguy.com)
Starting at pages 575, 1403, and 2004 for the 1165/1151/1167 models
I could only find the part in italics below about the Oil I was...
Thank you for that link. I have downloaded all the manuals from Kascar but, maybe I don’t need those ones.
unfortunately I clicked on every link for every TM on Gear report, and none of them are from June 2009. What am I missing?
My ac is not working in my 1165. I don’t really know where to start, but I figured getting all the pieces connected was a good idea so. I also have not found the proper TM section yet.
The rear evaporator was removed and oil leaked out of one of the lines. I wasn’t sure if I need to top off...
They must see something inside or a reflection. I had a red tailed hawk full dive into my house window once. It may have thought one of my kids toys was a mouse or it saw a mouse in a reflection . It stunned itself and stood next to the house for 4 hours before flying off.
