We had a great time, we went down a pretty washed out trail Friday evening that had ditches that would swallow a compact car...I will not soon forget going back up that hill! I'm already planning on next year. we were missing a few people and vehicles. hopefully this coming year we can advertise...
Actually put me down for two sets of the 3/4 feet w/ pins please! I'm looking for 3/4 inch pins if you have any? I am game for convoying from Claremore/Tulsa to the rally, the question is when on Friday?
Put us down for 3 this year, we are very much looking forwards to it! we will have a camper in tow, and driving the Duece, sadly I wasn't able to get the 936 wrecker buttoned up...still have yet to custom make the exhaust, the 400 big cam cummins was a tight fit where the NHC-250 was. oh well...
anyone know about loadout's on the Red River Army Depot GP site? from what Evan the GP rep told me my 923a2 is located in a dirt lot on the base, he claimed it was about 1/2 a mile from the gate. anyone have any experience loading out trucks, is Evan helpful? the truck I purchased is a non...
I called the local Allison /Detroit shop in Tulsa and talked to the lead mechanic. which happened to be a man of 25 years experience on the allisons alone, he told me the MT 654 was rated well below the power/torque curve. I asked because I put a 400 big can III in my 936A1 wrecker, and I was...
My wife and I enjoyed every minute of it! already looking forwards to going next year. I've already had a few people tell me they would be going next year for shure..we will see. cant wait!
I have quite a few 14.00-20's that are 90% tread some almost new, they are not on rims. $100 a piece and I can bring them with me to the rally, they are Michelin XL'S. I also have a set of new 9.00-20's on deuce split rims...4 green fiberglass troop seats sides, with bows $300 for a set bows and...
I think you will be more than happy once you start driving and using that m35! I have 4 parts m35's that have lots of parts including that copper fuel line! looking forwards to you making a trip down to Oklahoma to see us!
I had the chance to look all of them over, a couple of months ago. the sad thing is most of them were missing alternators, starters, and other various parts in the engine compartments. these goats were worked hard and put up wet for shure! 3 years ago they loaded up 50 of these things, some in...
1983 923A1 with the NHC 250 , Found a little seeping oil leak from both transmission cooler lines, took them off and found the fittings are a compression style, with what looks like to be large diameter hydraulic hose. anyone know the size of these hoses? I have a big hydraulic shop that has...
The good news is got both trailers loaded and home, I talked the Gov planet guy into using one of the Freightliner backhoe/front end laoder trucks to pick my trailers up and set them up on my trailer. it made short work of loading them! I also know what my next purchase will be!!!
I read the " fine print " it is in fact a company Gov planet contracted to hold the equipment off base, with NO loading assistance. I'm bringing two 4 ton come-along's and my pintle hitch for my pick-up, just in case I need a back up plan. looks like i'll be investing in a large electric winch...
