    M101A2 Towing Speed

Thanks for the great information. I agree the key is good tires and good grease.

    M101A2 Towing Speed

I was looking at the Technical Manual for my M101A2 trailer and read that the maximum recommended towing speed is 50MPH. Is this how fast people are towing these trailers? When I bought the trailer, I towed it back to Wisconsin from Kansas and I think I drove 65MPH the whole way. Why would the...

    Adding Pictures as an Attachment

Yes, I've done all that and the "i'm thinking" thingy swirls for about three seconds (longer for larger pics), goes out, and the attachments window closes. I'll need to check my security settings. Thanks everyone!!

    Adding Pictures as an Attachment

I don't know what an ISP is, but I use a laptop and cable modem, Windows 7 with Google Chrome. Java Settings (I couldn't find AJAX): Cookies - Allow local data to be set (recommended) Images - Show all images (recommended) Java Scripts - Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) Handlers...

    Adding Pictures as an Attachment

I've read all of the posts about posting pictures as an attachment (below the thread box) but I am having no luck. I've done it before because I have a a picture in my file manager, but this time it will not work. The picture I want to upload is also within the size requirement - it's 448 x 336...

    M101A2 Lunette

I bought an M101A2 recently. The trailer still has the Lunette, which I'd like to keep, but when I start up I get a jar when the Lunette shifts in the pintle and you can feel it 'bang' in the truck. I'm concerned this could eventually damage the FJ hitch system. Should there be a bang when I...

    1968 m101a1

The data plate is located on the body. harleyhouse - thanks! I haven't seen it up close, yet. My son picked it up and I'm going to make the drive to Kansas to get it in a couple weeks. I'm probably going to keep it stock except for the surge brakes. Now, I need to find the allusive tan cover.

    1968 m101a1

Thanks, Wreckerman893, That's what I was thinking. Personally, I prefer the A1 and will probably remove the surge brake. By the way, I love your Pogo. I remember reading Pogo back in the 60's and remember that quote - and have used it quite a bit lately.

    1968 m101a1

I recently purchased what was advertised as an M101A2 trailer. The picture matches the description with the surge brakes and 8 lug wheels. However, the data plate shows it as an M101A1 and gives the date of manufacture as 1968. My understanding is the M101A1 does not have the surge brakes and...
