I changed the primary fuel filter/strainer on my M923A2. I filled up the canister almost all the way and was surprised that the truck started right up and kept running after I replaced it.

Now that the temps here are cooling down, I changed lube oil and filter. Didn't see any oil drain plug gasket, not in drain pan. I used teflon tape on plug. Hope it doesn't leak. Will do trans and fuel filters next.
I don't own a hmmwv but someday I might. Was wondering if the serial and vin numbers were only located on a rivited plate located on the outside of the vehicle or other places. Is there only one place with those numbers or someplace else like on the frame? Thank you for any info.
Check the windings with ah ohm meter with one probe grounded to the solenoid body, separate from the truck ground. You want to see if there might be a short in the windings. There should be infinite ohms, no continuity. If there is some, that means there is a short and pulling down the...
