Has anyone built a ASK for a MEP-002/003?

I lived in upstate NY for years and used HH oil. I would not think there would be a problem using it in an engine. Keep in mind their are those who burn used motor oil in their diesels. If properly heated WVO will work I don't know why HH oil would not............Just my 2 cents

The Works toilet cleaner works. Rinse well and fill with fuel immediately after.

That helps but why would you run a ground wire from L3 to ground stud in a 120v setup? In these pics ground goes right to stud. TY for link I did not get anything with key words I was using.

It would be as a stand alone unit, I can not put a switch in where I live. Was thinking I could have a panel made so I could use cords to power what I deeded in case of outage. most would be just regular household plugs however my AC is 230v with a plug that kind of looks like a regular plug...

I work for a CO. that does GOV. contract work. We ordered about 80 of those cans, half water, half diesel. Was thinking of asking if they could get more from their supplier, but would probably have to order a lot.

Welder is a BAD IDEA on any kind of tank. Had a guy I work with tell me he had gotten an old fuel tank for the back of his truck. He needed a different opening on it so he filled it with water and let it sit for a few days. He drained the water and as soon as he put the fire to it he got a flare...

I apologize for for being dense, but what I am asking is it ok to just run with no load. The gen set I had before this one I would run every few weeks with no load just as a maintenance thing. Is this OK to do with these sets? TY for bearing with me:)

I heard that. I idle down just before I shut it off. Why is it so bad to idle them, do you know?

Bought a MEP-002 at auction about 3 weeks ago and have been waiting on batteries and filters. They came in today so after work I installed and added fluids. Then the moment of truth. WOO HOO THE BEAST LIVES! She purrs like a kitten.
