Modified a M105 trailer so the brakes now operate when pulled behind a pick-up.
Re-used the existing cable and replaced with a seven pin.
Removed all the air lines and brackets for the air.
Wired in the three additional circuits I needed. 12 V battery charge, the lowest one hooked into...
Hey all, I'm looking to compile any transmission conversions/swaps that have been done in 809 series trucks in one thread to make searching a little easier for all. If you come across any add the link or if you have done one what transmission did you use? Thanks
Sorry If I'm using the wrong names, I usually stick to the M809/M939 areas, but saw these when driving took some pics. They are brand new and have all the smae features as a MV plus creature comforts and nasty emissions equipment. You can see the Urea tank on the RS as well as the DPF.
I'm trying to get a M916 and have recently found out i cannot get an EUC because I'm not a citizen of the US, I'm Canadian. M916's are allowed to be exported to Canada so that's not a problem. I have to buy from a retailer and can't get one through GL. Anybody have any experience or ideas?
Does anybody know where the height difference comes from between the two trucks besides the tires and having a front diff. The M916 sits higher when looking at the front bumper, is it double framed? I would like to get a M916 but I think I might just put a transfer case and front diff in a M915...
I've read on here the M931 frame is 11'9" from the cab, I've seen mention the M923 frame 12" longer. What does it actually measure from the cab? What about M927? Just trying to figure out what frame to use? I've found the wheel base measurements but want the actual frame lengths. Thanks
