I filed lawsuit in Sarasota County for Writ of Mandamas last week, 1/31/23. I've based my Writ on the fact FL law 320.086(3) does not prohibit issuing unbranded title or unrestricted registration for HMMWV's. I'm hoping to argue in front of the Judge on the matter and requested an Order by the...
Also to add, the master switch was unresponsive because I cooked the relay in the power panel. I changed relays that fixed that problem. As soon as I changed ECU rest of the issues fixed.
Problem solved. I fried the ECU. I pulled it apart fried connection to computer chip. Got new ECU programmed and drives normal again. Luckily friend had ECU in left over stock from a job and programmed it for me for free... so could have been expensive fix... I lucked out in my situatuon... just...
I screwed up by starting my truck with a spare battery then disconnecting it while running to hook up regular battery. Now it doesn't respond to master switch when running. Couldn't shut off unless I disconnected battery and voltage regulator. Transmission also has all lines illuminated on...
Won Auction, Paid and EUC submitted on 9/23/15
EUC Status updated on 10/9/15 saying: Submitted to TSC, pending approval
I contacted Battle creek on 10/16 to check status: Here's the reply:
As I told you on the phone you are nowhere in the TSC Data base to show you have been cleared. Not really...
Update on EUC... Battlecreek called me back on Monday 10/5/15 said they couldn't locate my file from previous EUC so no federal # assigned to me. That said he stated it would be 2-3 weeks for processing/investigation of my EUC for approval. He reiterated, once federal ID is assigned it's only...
I agree with everyone's frustration! However, I have been delighted with the customer assistance I've gotten from both GP and DLA on my EUC. I will say DLA told me today EUC approval is much faster if you have been approved within last 30 months on previous sale and you have been assigned a...
Yes I also read on DLA Disposition Website they've seen a 450% increase in revenue over previous commercial venture contract. I think DLA Dispositon Services should ramp up the staffing to push these thru since they're proud to announce they're getting bigger returns on the sales.
That was correspondence from DLA CIV DISPOSITION SERVICES. That's what I had gotten back when I inquired directly with the gentleman that handled a transaction for me previously. DLA DISPOSITION SERVICES is stating they're behind on work. I have an email out to the point of contact they referred...
FYI for everyone: This is correspondence I just received from Battlecreek where they process EUC's:
All EUC's are handled through the IronPlanet rep here in our Building. IronPlanet has an office in Battle Creek on the first floor. The EUC's are taking quite some time as the office is a little...
This is my first EUC through GP. But I've been through EUC process before with GL. Can I contact someone at GP and share it's not my first EUC period? That would be great if I could skip some red tape. I still have the contact info for the gentleman I worked with in Battlecreek last time I got...
I won my first M998.
Paid 9/23/15
Submitted EUC 9/23/15
Waiting for EUC Approval...
Disappointing to hear it's taking so long for EUC approval process thru GP. I got a F350 thru GL and got EUC approval in a week.
Yes, but not long for cranking time. Runs them dead fast. Put 4 in and it will be sufficient. Not like military spec batteries. But $400 for 4 civis versus $1000 for 4 6TMF batteries...
It's Algae... had same issue on our truck. Funny trick that cures it... drain your tank completely, pour 5 gallons of gasoline in your tank and let sit for a day or 2. Then drain. I did it twice and on 2nd time I agitated gas in the tank to make sure all the crud was out. I then sprayed using...
I agree with all the posts here. We had fuel issues (algae in the tank) drove truck 1000 miles home and did 3 filter changes along the way. I always aired up the truck before changing filters so I could pressurize the tank. We put schrader valve in our cap just for that reason. Primer pump...
The adjustment on top is the low fuel. The adjustment on back under the tin cover is the no air adjustment for smoke. Under that is the full fuel adjustment that bumps the real power. I discovered after several months of adjustments and looking/investigating fuel/power issues on ours the short...
We did ours on wednesday. Easier than anything, just used a 3/8" DOT line quick connect fitting to splice the 2 together coming from the dash switch to the T-case and for now kinked the 3rd line to the auto switch. We'll get a quick connect DOT line cap for 3rd line and be done with it. Now full...
Problem ended up being transfer pump stopped working. The plunger was sticking in. Changed that and runs. Turned up full fuel 2 revolutions, now idle is at 900 in neutral and 700 in gear. Now the other problem, when slowing down to a stop it stalls. Makes no sense when idle is so high. It does...
That "sludge" is algae. Need to make sure to kill it all or it will continue to grow. I drained tank completely, used pump up sprayer and sprayed gasoline in tank walls etc... let stand for a day. I also had major buildup on bottom. Let 5 gals gas sit in tank and drained. I agitated and it broke...
