    M-37 gemmer b-60 steering box

    Rebuilt the Gemmer box and found it wasn't such a big deal after all. The sector gear bushings were so worn they folded up like tin foil. The new ones went in with a minimum of effort after spending an hour in the freezer and placing the gemmer box by the fire place.

    I think I will paint it eventually. I used pressure treated wood so it's really got to dry out for a long while before you can paint it.

    Yes it was on the G741 site. I have traced this truck through the three previous owners and the jack came with the truck from Europe. Jim

    Thank you both for the reply. I know this truck belonged to the Army Missle command in Europe according to the Data plate located on the frame. I'll check the plate on the jack. jim
