    I also have this problem, my 28 was compression tested and the #7 injector drips slightly, not bad. I've wanted to deal with this for a while, but I'm was not sure how to properly remove an individual injector, clean and re-install. Do I need to loose the clamp on the pipe? Do I need to replace...

    Well if you can afford it, then yes it will stand up to the elements for a longer period of time when compared to a substitute, probably 2X times. That being said, if rust prevention is your main concern, then the time and money spend on rust prvention would serve you better then a premium paint...
