The hub bolt pattern & circle looks like that on my IH 1310, but your stub axle has more splines than I remember having on mine, which looks to ruin any chance of using IH locking hubs.
That’s 5-lug, BTW.
I replaced those slotted screws with some hex-recess ones I got at McMaster, and used a bit of anti-seize on the threads in hopes I can avoid fighting them in the future.
An M125 is my bucket-list military truck. Too big to be believed, to me it's the B-36 of trucks. That quality, and the fact that any red light-running idiot (this place is full of 'em) would be a stain somewhere on the front of truck really makes me want one. Someday.
The mechanics & implications weren't, and still aren't, my concern; I had some information I thought would be of interest around here & wanted to share it out of a spirit of community. I'll know better next time.
It's a ranch auction, BTW-- if you're not there in person, you can't bid. No...
I have learned of a ranch auction being held nearby with several MV's that would be of interest to SS members, but I'm not sure what forum to post in. I have no stake in, or affiliation with, the property owners, or the auctioneers, I just thought it might be of interest.
Being used to that sound, and being able to endure it are two very different things, I found when I put a Hercules DT3.7 in my M43. It was head-splitting loud in there at 65 mph. Earplugs were MANDATORY, even after retrofitting several different types of sound deadener. Never again.
