I had the alternators rebuilt, changed the filters and fluids, and installed a radio. Oh, and my M1008 has an old warn 8274 winch on the front that needed a remote... so i got one and rewired the plug so it would make the ole thing work. And boy does it work! As soon as i can get some spare...

Could anyone tell me, If I want to change the open diff in my m1008 to a trac loc lsd, what other than the differential would i need to change? Also, do i go with the outer or inner spline count when matching one? Thanks in advance for the advise.

I have a 86 M1008... Can anyone tell me if I have an open diff or a limited slip up front... From what i've read its an open... And also what is the difference b/t the two, and also the pros and cons of them. I unfortunately dont have that much mechanical knowledge. Thanks.
