That was at Colemans in Millersburg. They seem to want pretty much for the parts that were headed for scrap. I may go back and see if they will sell one of the units that is picked pretty clean just to have the block and spare generator end.
Dangier, The gear should spin very free by hand as should the shutoff. Did you pick that up in Delaware? If so, I was looking at that unit, looked as though it was in very nice shape.
1800, I saw this while out salvaging, not sure if it is the type of enclosure that you are looking for. Let me know, I may go back again to snoop around.
Can anyone identify this unit? I was out looking for some spare parts and came across it. I thought it was an MEP003 until I saw the exhaust manifold that connects all 4 cylinders. I am not real familiar with these units but have not seen this before. I also have not seen the filter assembly...
OK, I cleaned the paint off with a brass wire brush and inspected it with a magnifying glass and there is nothing there. Kind of odd, the button code is stamped pretty deep into the body.Maybe they forgot the PDC.
I am trying to get a spare IP to have on hand. My pump does not have the port closing dimension. stamped on it but does have the button size.I assume that there is no way to match up a spare without both dimensions. If anyone can confirm this I would appreciate it. ( I even checked it with a...
1800, I got exhaust supplies at Napa ( see picture) the flex was a 6 foot section that was exactly enough. The hard pipe is 1 1/2" EMT (Electrical Metallic Tubing for electrical wiring), with 90 degree elbows and compression steel couplings to join the elbows to the straight sections. The flex...
Jerry,The batteries are in there, they are placed opposite of the way you installed yours. I actually purchased 2 sheets of cap material from a local shop that went out of business (20.00 each), they are 98X68 or so. You are correct Jimc, that is my frequency meter, it is hanging on a nail so...
Just want to thank everybody for the guidance. Finally pulled the generator out of the garage and set it in place behind the pole barn.:-D Ready for an outage! Used aluminum truck cap material for the roof and some old rubber roofing for the sides.
My MEP 003 currently has 49 hours on it. I purchased it with 46 hrs. The dipstick tube has a tag on it (see picture) stating not to change oil until required (100 hrs). The oil is still clear when I check it and feels as though it is still the same consistency as the new oil that I have. I know...
The latest items that showed up needing an EUC were 2 upright refrigerators that I was watching. Are you saying that they will enforce the EUC requirement when it shows up after bidding or do you need to call and confirm it? This all seems a little confusing.
Has anyone noticed that some items do not indicate that a EUC is required during bidding and then shows up in your closed watch list as being required? This seems to happen quite often, or am I missing something?:???:
