24 Volt Control Voltage. I have it here but not over there!

I have 24 volts at the emergency disconnect on the control panel but no voltage on the 24 volt panel mounted battery gauge. Full voltage is available @ the K relays but when S1 is set to pre-heat or start it sounds like undervoltage relay chatter. It was and has been working great for many...

What should drop out the starter solenoid on an MEP-003a?

Since the starter drops out using this second oil pressure gauge I can get by until time allows for a more thorough inspection. I did notice the "bow" you mentioned so I had little faith in the feeler gauge method. Thanks for the input!

What should drop out the starter solenoid on an MEP-003a?

Found the cut out switch. Made all sorts of adjustments (with and without a feeler gauge) but there is still a problem. The starter pulls out most of the times but occasional it jumps back in shortly after the gen set fires up. Makes an ugly noise when it does that. Guess I'll wire the...

Auxiliary fuel pump sequence of operations question

My apologies. I have an MEP-003a. It's just odd that the pump remains energized even when the float switch is satisfied and the solenoid valve is closed.

Auxiliary fuel pump sequence of operations question

Am I correct in my observation that the auxiliary fuel pump runs continuously when the selector switch is in the aux position but that the auxiliary fuel solenoid opens and closes as needed to top off the onboard day tank? At least that's how mine seems to be working. Thanks

What should drop out the starter solenoid on an MEP-003a?

Thanks, I will look into this and hopefully figure out why a second oil pressure switch was added to knock out the solenoid.

What should drop out the starter solenoid on an MEP-003a?

What is or should be used to drop out the starter solenoid once the generator is running? On my MEP-003a someone added an additional oil pressure switch plumbed in line with the oil pressure gauge. While it all works fine there are times when the generator may be cold and during cranking the oil...
