    Air tank pressure sensor

Mine was leaking on my 923A1 when I got it. I almost jumped the gun and bought a new one, but decided to take it off first and see if I could stop the leak with JB weld or something temporarily. It turns out the switch comes completely apart and just needed cleaning and the air side of it...

    Fuel tank building pressure

Just checked the vent tube up top, it did have signs of mud dobbers. It wasn't blocked solid though, I'll have to pull the vents loose from the tank and blow air through the lines and go from there.

    Fuel tank building pressure

I just picked up a M923A1, I drove it from NC to FL. It ran an operated flawlessly, the only thing I noticed was the fuel tank was building up pressure every time I stopped for fuel. Is this normal? It seems like the tank should be vented. The truck is one of the ones completely refurbished by...

    5 Tons under a deuce

I doubt it, I stay so busy right now I just don't have the time. Plus what it would cost, I doubt anybody would buy them.

    5 Tons under a deuce

There is an adjustment on the injection pump. It's pretty simple, it is a stud with two nuts on it. Break loose the jam nut, and tighten the other causing the rod to be "pulled" out of the pump. I think I went 1-1/2 turns on the nut. Really you need a pyrometer to know for sure, but so far mine...

    BudLight Deuce? Details anyone?

Isn't that 55cameo's truck he had a build thread on here. It looks like he must have sold it to a budlight fan.

An idiot's guide to piecing together a winch.

My $200 complete winch setup turned into a $1200 winch setup by the time i replaced what was worn and broken and got it on my truck. Next time I'll buy a winch truck from the start.

Any difference in "early" 5 ton axle-side steering arms?

If your looking for a shorter left steering arm, you can use a right steering arm that originally connected to the hydraulic cylinder on later M54's and 800 series 5 tons. That's what I did on my bobbed truck to correct the steering ratio to work with my shorter custom made pitman arm.

    bobbed and lifted deuce

I agree 7018 is a better weld for the most part, but like I said before strength wise a ER70S6 mig weld is just as strong if done correctly. 7018 is used in a a lot of pipe welding applications, I would say mainly because of the environmental factors that come with welding pipe. You usually end...
