thanks so much. I did get it started this morning. I cracked the fuel housing and filled it up over the edge and sealed it shut , primed it again and it cranked right up.
My M35A2C is a '87 Air Force model, and my starter switch is the pn 12375615 (also used on M35A3). I guess I don't have a fuel pressure switch. Anyway, I'm having a start issue, and I was wondering if there is another wiring schematic for the Air Force Deuce like mine.
so I took the pump off and assessed what I needed that I did'nt have in my kit. Sent that request to MRO, ate lunch and injured my right hand. So I'll heal while I'm waiting for that to arrive. I appreciate the help so much. I feel more certain about it coming togeather now. I'll be back on it soon.
I'm sure there's no fluid in the hand pump reservoir. This certainly helps , and I have to pull the air/hydraulic power unit and redo it with the right stuff. The rubber bumper washer feels like something left out. I'll follow this fix list I have. Tomorrow I'll pull it.
I'm at total failure with my hydraulics. I rebuilt my air/hydraulic power unit, and now in review of this, I see an error I made, so I'll take it apart and start over. I have a '95 M1078 , and I don't think I have the hydraulic filter on my truck ( illustrated in TM 9-2320-365-20-2) . I now...
Gov Planet now handles the rolling stock , GL is done. It was said above, a M35 coming out of surplus now , has sat a good loing while. I'd focus on private owners selling one they have kept up. They are out there, so don't get into a hurry.
thanks , should find it . yeah, I didn't think the transmission had an air connect , but this is what is happening. I'm getting some time to solve a few issues with the trucks, so I'm on it !
the '87 is the Air Force truck. I have one , and I like it, alot! My truck handles well , and I'm not a fan of bobbing one. It's a great truck for the uses you listed.
"I've found a place I should be able to park near my house" <~~~ This my friend is a serious problem. Without anymore information, I am advising you against this
the only way to know, is to have the truck's entire history. I asked a friend to research my LMTV. It showes 10k , but it was showing 16k in Afghanistan. The military does not have to comply with civilian laws. All of us owning, operating, and selling stuff in the civilian market, needs to...
mileage displayed on military odometers seldom, if ever , reflect the true mileage of the vehicle. This, among other things, are important to understand about military surplus vehicles in the civilian world. The civilian world is closely guarded by consumer protection laws, vehicles that have to...
