M1097A2 New Temperature Gauge Not working.

I gave you the location of the connector in my first reply, post #3. It's under the dog house cover, back of the engine. Easily accessible setting in the driver seat.

M1097A2 New Temperature Gauge Not working.

The physical location is right under the dog house cover at the back of the engine. That's the connection between the 'E'ngine harness and the 'B'ody harness.

    Is the part# GEP18002829 a NON-ADJUSTABLE TPS ??

Has anyone purchased/used the GEP18002829 Throttle Position Sensor? If so, did it work ok? Did you try to set the voltages? Recently purchased a TPS from KASCAR. The part I received is part# GEP18002829. Not the 12554488 that is currently on my truck. Ok, so maybe just a new part # from GEP...

Throttle Position Sensor test cable pinout - anyone have this?

FlameRed, Definitely good info in pinning out the TPS itself. Thanks for the help. But, What I'm looking for is the pinout for the test cable used to adjust the TPS. ( Yes guys, I know you can adjust it to "good enough" without the cable or the block.) The cable looks like this....

Throttle Position Sensor test cable pinout - anyone have this?

Does anyone have the pinout for the TPS test cable or a cable they can check? Or maybe a cable they are willing to lend out? TPS cable P# 12460120 6150-01-412-7774

    Block Heater

I have a M1043A2. 6.5NA GEP engine. No block heater. But, on the driver side there is an "X" painted on the block above a freeze plug. Not sure if that means to put it there. Or, don't put it there.

    HMMWV Fastener Finish?

OEM fasteners have a Zinc-Aluminum coating. I've ordered them from mcmaster carr. If you have the option to order that, you're good to go.

    Shifter gasket rubber

I looked around and couldn't find one. This is one that I made. Used the old one as a guide. Completely different from the 3 speed shifter.

Block Heater location marked with a painted "X" ?

Was thinking of installing a block heater in my 6.5 gep engine. Seems that the center plug on the driver side is a typical location. That plug has a painted "X" over it. Anyone else seen this? Not sure if this was a mark to say "Put it here" or something else. Any ideas?
