    Working a mule

    Anyone knows that if you have a good mule, you have to work it once in a while or they get lazy. Here I am loaded up for a hit-miss engine show in Harrison, MI this weekend.     Carburetor question

    I posted this on the "G" also. I am familiar with the idle adjustment on the mule carb. I do get some black smoke while running, and occaisionaly the plugs will foul out with black soot. Am I missing an adjustment somewhere or getting ready for a new carb?

    Connecting an oil gauge

    Can anyone give me a hint about where to connect an oil gauge to my mule engine? Either electric or tube type. It makes me nervous not knowing if I have any oil pressure!
