    Introduction and pictures

Dunno what the stencil under the hood means.. The front of the hood says "WIDE RIGHT TURNS" although putting it on the front in normal print (not backwards so you could read it in a rear view mirror) makes no sense to me. BUT, it's the military:D. You need to figure out a "plan". Is it a...

    M37 Instruments and switches

You have a dash panel from a Mutt / M151. It is different from the M37. But yes, the two outer lights are for gauges illumination, and the bottom is your high beam indicator. So, if you had original gauges (to m37) each gauge would have glass windows around the circumference just under the...

    Gas tank breathing.

Yes, it's the fording vent. If it's broken your tank will still be vented and won't create a vacuum but just don't go under water.

    M37 fist aid kit

Mine is a 52. Passenger side/side of seat box/inside the door. There are 3 bumpers that sit against the back of the kit and 2 that keep it off of the floor. The strap merely threads through the slots. This is original and hasn't been modified. No footman loops.

    Wiring on my '52

I just installed a solid state turn signal rig into my truck project and had to use douglas and packard to finish the job. I had disassemble some of the connectors and install different ones. Fortunately, I have the parts and crimpers. The biggest help in doing all of it was a can of spray...

Looking for a pic of the UPPER valve assembly on the fording kit..

Thanks Frank but in all my M-37 days I have never seen one of the valves mounted in that location. Is that even an M37?? It looks like its at the rear of the block over a fuel pump maybe? Plus the exhaust manifold is different. A Jeep maybe? The valve itself is the same (era) but I'm looking...

Looking for a pic of the UPPER valve assembly on the fording kit..

So I'm diving back into my project and am installing the NOS complete fording kit components, complete with the cosmoline coating:poop:. The "instructions" consist of 2 cartoonish diagrams, one of the engine and the other is the side of the truck for the pipes/brackets with the part # list...

    Branch of service affects value?

A plus point would be the lack of rust from being down in AZ (if it does in fact have little to no rust).(y)

    Branch of service affects value?

Equipped hardware & condition have the largest influence on a price. Items like the original heater, fording kit, winch, full canvass, even tires in good condition (we know new ones aren't cheap, will boost a price. As far as condition, what items have been replaced? This translates into...
