I also need a trailer hand brake lever assembly, maybe a set of 11r20's in good, roadworthy condition, and a set of the Isuzu truck wheels that fit the Deuce lug pattern. The tires do not have to be NDT's, I am looking at options. I recently acquired a M563 trailer that I am working on cleaning...
Still have this snatch block for sale or trade. $50 or trade me for ? Gallon jug for scale only. I believe it is rated for 5/8 cable.
Want to buy:
AB-621 "rocket launcher" style portable mast, or something equivalent.
Front roll bar that mounts to the rack on an MV850
In this case there is enough gap for expansion. The issue is that I left it as a floating floor and so through the course of driving, idling, etc, the vibrations make the whole floor tend to slide a little. When it runs out of room it wants to buckle because the vinyl is thin and gets quite...
Small updates: I have recently rebuilt the air-over-hydraulic pump, replaced the spare tire lift cylinder, swapped some wheel valves for CTIS, and swapped the spare tire strap. CTIS is now working nearly 100%. The only issue I seem to have with it right now is the pressure switch on the wet...
Some of them can be unbolted and some can't. Some are swaged on so tightly that they are basically cold welded. I personally wouldn't bother trying to unbolt them. Once you get the hang of cutting with a grinder and cut off wheel, it goes fast enough. I think I have cut probably 100 of them...
I just installed the aftermarket solenoid valve on my truck. Thanks for the videos by @CallMeColt and @Ronmar and to @wheelspinner for mentioning that was an option. I went ahead and ordered two of them to have a spare, or to use one for some future purpose maybe, along with the stacking screw...
The M1079 frame rail section is braced at the front, rear, and middle. The M1078 upper rail is not, but that it taken care of by the flat bed mounted to it. The M1079 also has plates at the rear of the frame that tie the top and bottom frame rail sections together. That's one of the reasons I...
Yep that is correct. If I were to load my enclosure enough then I would be over the rated weight for the original M1078 suspension. I should still be within the ratings of the M1078 suspension as it sits today and after adding a couple of things inside.
That's the thing, it's hard to say what is nominal unless you drive another one for comparison. Mine is stable, it just has more roll than it did with the flat bed. Weight for weight I should still be under the rated weight for a loaded M1078, but now the center of gravity is higher. Keep in...
Thanks for the note on the springs. I am still using the original M1078 springs and it seems OK so far. I am figuring that between the weight subtracted from the flat bed and the weight added with the enclosure and frame section, I'm still within spec. I've only ever driven mine, so I can't...
That's interesting. For what it's worth I have been driving mine with the original M1078 springs and it seems fine so far. It does tend to rock and roll a little on the road but it's within a small range of movement, if that makes sense. I haven't really done any offroading yet other than...
I did a bit more research and plugged the VIN into the Polaris VIN Search. This one is listed as a 2014 model, manufactured in Oct of 2013. Someone else had posted indicating that they start the next year model builds in July. The issue was addressed for the 2014 model year as well from what I...
Well that was an interesting 22 page thread to read. There were one or two I think that showed the problem at higher accumulated miles, but it seems that most of them had the issue within the first 200 hours or so. This one has a tad under 1600 miles on it. It idles and runs great so far...
