I just used the original military geared lug wrench and it worked well for removal when I did all 6 wheels change out. I did have a 600 pound torque wrench for the install.
Dressed for the Falmouth MA Christmas parade in support of the Joe Q veterans center. Theme was letters to the troops. Can’t see the lights around the bed and on the grill wreath.
This was painted in 2015 with Behr premium ultra with brush and roller in my driveway. Truck is stored outside on Cape Cod and has held pretty well. Some rust through but the prep was minimal. Some touch ups for peeling but not much.
The screw where the blade attaches to the arm can be loosened and the round washer looking thing is a grooved 2 piece. You can index the wiper blade to whatever position you need to set the proper angle. Pretty easy, just look close and you’ll see what I am talking about.
Looks like it came out well. I am a little OCD about aligning my wipers to get a better look. Actually wipes the windshield for a better view in the rain. Easy to adjust and I think has a better look and not getting in the way when in the park (off) position.
Finally got my spot lights on the truck. Control box is built up as I didn’t have the original military unit. It is attached with wiring and movable so I can control while sitting in the seat. Can’t get the video to load to show operation but they are bright, love the 360 degrees rotation and...
