What are you asking for the bike?
Also, I will have a few thing to sell as well,
HMMWV CBC shelter
4 24 bolt HMMWV wheels, three have good tires
4 other misc HMMWV wheels and tires
HMMWV 2 man soft top kits. They contain everything you need but the B pillar. Top, bows, doors, back wall, etc. I...
I will have a bunch of complete HMMWV 2 man soft top kits, including doors and hardware.
Also, I have a HMMWV CBC that if someone is interested in I can get up there
I was going to post some pictures but apparently I am not smart enough to do so from my phone.
Juan, thank you for the links, saving me time. Nice to see the use of off the shelf parts for a change
I am working on a M1082 and the Air Spring Brake Valve, PN - 013596577 NSN - 4820-01-359-6577, is leaking. It appears to be from the gasket. I have done some searching but can't seem to find a cross reference to civilian part numbers. I would prefer a rebuild kit, but a direct replacement would...
Thank you both. Good to know that walking on the roof wont cause any issues. I plan to mount three solar panels up there, sounds like I wont have a problem while I am up there installing them
Yet another guy with plans to build an S-280 into a camper. I havent picked one up yet but have some questions about how they are built.
What kind of insulation do they have? I know the old school military vans (M109 and such) had the fiber inside their wall that soaked up all kinds of moisture...
Very nice start. I am gathering info on a build I will be doing next month so always looking for ideas. I am thinking of this(http://www.arcticbreeze-truckac.com/content/busac.html) as an A/C option. 12k BTU and max draw is 850w. I will be using an S-280 shelter as my living space and am pretty...
So I am planning on bidding on a 5ton in a few days but I want to be sure on the post auction timeline. Obviously they want their money right away. The question I have is when can I pick up the truck?
the EUC and SF97 process takes months, I am assuming the vehicle cannot legally be driven on...
ah yes, the blow it in place response. Have tried that on a few aircraft but never got the go ahead, apparently they are worth more than my time was.
This gives me a good starting point, now the big hurdle is availability of quality products and getting the license and such.
Thanks again for...
Red, Thanks for the insight. We don't use our LMTV's nearly enough to really tell if they are reliable or not. They leave the motor pool maybe once every few months. The 1079 is really attractive for this but reliability is something I am going for.
As far as the trailers, I would be dragging...
Seems like a lot of trailer to drag around with how little I would put in it. or do you mean put the shelter in the trailer and use the truck for storage?
A thought to the crowd. What do you think would be better offroad and overall reliability; a M934, a M1079 with a m105 in tow, a M932 with a s250 on the deck and an M105 in tow, or a 923 with a S-280 in the bed?
All of them would be set up with a living area inside the van. The trailer would be...
