How to post a ad ?

The 100 post requirement for posting in the classified section is costing members opportunities to buy hard to find parts! I have a unique M1009 part I would like gone....but I will not go to the trouble of making 100 post. The piece BELONGS on this site...but the members will never see it and...

    Jeff City M1009 EUC approved.

Q: Can the vehicles be picked up prior to the issue of the EUC / title, etc. PS...nice truck, I'm still bidding and looking for mine. If your axles fall through, try the ColoradoK5 forum, typically a fair amount of that stuff in there.

    Hub Turning

The NP208 is not prone to breaking, it's a "decent" T-case, for an aluminum chain drive. My guess is that the torque hitting the case with the front end unlocked created an unbalanced load on the case, it split because you had no load coming from the front axle, to balance it out....just a...

    M1009 Spring Pack Set-Up

Three was the set up for the K20 trucks...makes sense. They were basically flat, not arched, or inverted as the K5 & K10. That would put the vehicle "about" 1 1/2" higher off the axles than OEM K5. In theroy, they should tolerate a tad more tire without a lift than a K5....all would be great...

    M1009 Spring Pack Set-Up

Being that the Gov rated the M1009 as a 3/4 ton, and that I have noticed they "appear" to set just a bit taller than a stock K5 civilian Blazer....do they share the same spring pack set-up? The K5 has 2 in the front, and the arc is slightly inverted. Are they a little taller? Is the ride...

    M1009 Aqc Question?

I have noticed that the M1009's listed on the GL auctions appear to have 2 basic Gov Acquisition values. Some @ $28,000, and some @ 32,990. What's the difference in these vehicles? Thanks

To Rebuild or not to Rebuild TH400

Stay with the 400. The 700 has a lower 1st gear (+)....but Over Drive +3.08 gears is just ugly(-) I couldn't image lugging the engine like that at higway speeds. I would guess it would be turning something like 1400 rpm going 60-65. Gross. "Most" chevy trucks that ran the 700 had gears that...

New Guy Looking for M1009 Info

Thanks, I may have mis-titled the pieces I am looking for info on. I am referencing the 2 (lugs?) that protrude from the front bumper, that commonly have shackles in them. They look like box bar material and I assume they bolt to the frame rails.

New Guy Looking for M1009 Info

Hi guys, new to the forum. I am currently looking for an M1009 and it doesn't look like one will be "too" hard to find. Currently searching, calling, Gov bidding, etc. I am looking for a clean rolling chasis, engine, transmission not needed. I will be towing the "new" ride home to southeast...
