You know, that type mat is used all over in trucks. It might be listed in the back of the TM as a "Bulk" Item. Get the the manufactures name and you can order some of it and cut your own.

I found a company here in Germany that sells the mat. But 215 euros sound a tad steep to pay for it. SOTAPARTS

Then I would say its air in the fuel system. Sometimes its a real PITA to get all the air out. Charge the batteries real good, or slave it off something else and just keep cranking it. The best way to purge the air is to loosen the line at the injector, the farthest from the IP as possible...

Please define "sputter". Do you mean a little fuel is starting to come out of the injector line? Or that the engine is trying to start, maybe hits a compression stroke every now and then?

Are you talking about a M116A2 trailer, or a MODIFIED M116A2 trailer. The modified trailer is, modified for the mounting of a generator set. As far as I know, only the M116A3 was modified. But I could be wrong.
