M1009 rims - upping the size from stock?

I run 39" tires on 17" wheels with a 4" lift and it is great. I also have a few other mods though.

Mounting an AC compressor on stock 6.2?

Those appear to be the exact same brackets I pulled from a civilian 6.2. The alternator base bracket gets changed as the ac one is a little different. The power steering pump mounts to the ac base bracket without any modification at all. Should be 5 pieces for a complete mount.

Mounting an AC compressor on stock 6.2?

Vintage air will sell you the kit for 79-87 Chevy K5 w/o factory air. You can order it without the compressor brackets or compressor if you don't want it. That's what I did and used the Sanden 508 from them. It's an all under dash unit. Very nice, great instructions, no fitment issues. I'm...

Mounting an AC compressor on stock 6.2?

Call them. I called and they were extremely nice and helpful. I'm not sure they list the bracket kit separate on the site but I know they will sell and ship it to you

Had to source factory A6 compressor brackets, an adapter kit from A6 to Sanden, and then still modify both sets of brackets to make it work. If I did it over again I would try to...

Mounting an AC compressor on stock 6.2?

Nostalgic ac has a full kit for this. They have a compressor bracket that mounts below the passenger side alternator and comes with an add on crank pulley to drive it. You can buy the whole kit from them or just the compressor mounting setup. Great option as long as your not turbo, as the turbo...

    M1009 6.5 TD swap?

What's been done to the highly upgraded 6.2? I have a 6.2 with the ATS turbo kit and am looking for a little more power.

    Six Blade 20" Fan

Great info and thanks for checking on that. This California heat along with the ats turbo heat it up pretty quick

    Six Blade 20" Fan

Perfect! Thank you. Just confirming that is an original fan clutch?

    Six Blade 20" Fan

He said that it supposedly fits. Just trying to confirm before purchasing. From my research it appears that the clutch bolt pattern is 3.25" and the fan is double drilled for 3 And 3.5"

    Six Blade 20" Fan

What's the brand and part number of the 6 blade 20" fan? Was it a direct fit on the 4 bolt fan clutch in the m1009?
