    Flame heater removal progress check

Thanks for the response fpchief! I've been browsing through the TM's trying to find a diagram of my issue. Havent located the trouble pieces yet... there is a weephole that streams diesel out of it. It sits on top of the intake manifold under the rectangular metal shield. I believe it might be...

Noob with a question. My flame heater is leaking fuel. I have seen rebuild kits, but will decide what to do with that later, maybe one of these other Kits would be better, possibly save future headaches? But my question for now, is can I just plug the supply line for the flame heater, without...

Trailer towing an M35A2 on flatbed

Just finished taking a look at my bumper hitch. It's a ford factory hitch. Has a "V 5" on it, but max capacity is 1,000 tongue weight and 10,000 trailer? Is this the rating they give because of the weight of the truck and all the gvwr gcwr stuff? I thought a class 5 hitch was good to closer to...

Nice. Good to know. I have air bag setup on my truck. Still need to find out exactly what class hitch I have. I would be taking the back roads, could keep it 35 mph the whole trip if I had to.

    Deuce engine vibration

Update. There has been a "wobble" develop at low rpms. I don't hear anything change with engine operatin sound. I am researching harmonic balance and am thinking maybe that is the issue. Wonder if that is ca using the high rpm vibration issue/sound as well. I will be reading more on harming...

    Deuce engine vibration

I have noticed that one of the radiator columns is detached from the rest of the radiator?!?! I had no idea that was possible without leaks everywhere? I have check over many bolts for tightness. I have not removed belts and ran. Will try that. I guess I could wedge something between the...

    Deuce engine vibration

So I visually inspected this morning. No flop in the belts. The parker racor filter assembly I have is a r120t. Looking online it appears to be for a tractor. It's much larger filter, but will thereceive be enough pressure sent from the in tank pump to push the fuel through? It's a 10 micron...

Hi. Got off work and rushed home to tinker a bit! The fan blades are solid, very sturdy. The belts are all tight the seem to have very little depression. I tried to wiggle fan blade bully and air compressor pulley... no play. I did have to remove and research the gasket on the primary fuel...
