    Alabama meet and greet

I've only been to grayrock once, and the trails that I went down were wide enough for a deuce. I haven't been through the whole park, I think its something like 3,000 acres. If we can get some interest in going I can try to contact the staff at grayrock an get some more info. I don't have my...

    Alabama meet and greet

Hey guys, Just wanted to know who we had in Alabama, thought we could meet up some time. What rallys or events do we have close to us that you go to? Isn't there a rally in GA? I tried looking it up but just heard mention of it here and there. Has anyone ever been to grayrock in mt. olive...

    M101 Dimensions

Thats not too bad of a price. M101A2/$1,200 M101A1/$500 Something like that anyhow. All the GL has around me is the A1. I might have to drive abit to pick up an A2.

    M101 Dimensions

Thanks for the info guys. Is the width the same on an m101a1 and a m101a2? Also what is the going rate for a decent m101a2, and m101a1. Thanks

    M101 Dimensions

Recovry I think the 76" box that blackfox was referring to was the old style m101a1 box. The newer m101a2/3 box is 96" or so. Are you telling me that the 101a1 is also 96"? If so that would be great, they seem to be alot cheaper. Down side of the a1 is no breaks. I also thought of an m105 box on...

    M101 Dimensions

Ok, I found the original thread for the camper build that I mentioned in the previous post. If you read the whole thread it has more info than the builders website does. All he did did to get the s250 to fit in the m101, is change the axle and remove the fender wells. He went with an axle with...

    M101 Dimensions

Thanks, I'll stick with alittle in my $$$$ range. The m101a2 is what i'm looking for, but it it does not seem that the s-250 will fit between the wheel wells. I know its been done, check this out gimpyrobb sent me this is another thread. http://www.sanlee.com/jeep/S250camper/default.htm The...

What type of shelter is this?

gimpy, how did your friend get the s250 to fit in the m101 trailer? The s50 is 48" and inbetween the wheel wells of the trailer is only 45". Do you know what he modified, or what he did? Thanks

    M101 Dimensions

Well I forgot that the camper is only 4' at the bottom, so its made tofit in between the wheel wells. But it seems I would still have a problem, the exact measurement of the camper width at the bottom is 48 7/8. If the M101a2 is only 45 1/2 between wells, maybe I could modify the wheel wells to...

    M101 Dimensions

Ok i'm looking for a m101 to pull behind my suburban. I like the A2/A3 with the surge breaks. My question is about the inside dimensions. The M101A1 is smaller right, I want to put a camper in the back of a M101 but the camper is 8.5' long, and 79" wide. I know it won't fit in an A1 but will it...

What type of shelter is this?

That's what i'm talking about, your buddy did a good job. I think that this one on gl now will make a good camper, and it is a bit longer than your buddies. Thanks

What type of shelter is this?

Has anyone made a camper out of one of these? I was planning to find a CBC to convert two a weekend camper and put it in the back of a bobbed deuce. But this s250g is not very far away from me and at 8.5 ft it is only 6" shorter than a cbc, but a few inches wider. Are they insulated? What do you...

What type of shelter is this?

Here are some pics of the dimension plates off of an s250 and I think that bigger one is an s250g. I'm not really sure. Looking at the pics of the two shelters I can't really tell them apart. But acorrding to these tags the s250 18" longer. There are about six pics on each link.

What type of shelter is this?

I just found more info on it. It's labeled as an S250G. Yea I googled that same info, didn't come up with much. Now see if I can find anything on S250G. I'm sure of the dimensions, got it right off of the tag of a S250, and this S250G.

What type of shelter is this?

I found this on GL it looks like a s250 but it is longer. This is 102" long an s250 is 86" long. I'm thinking about maybe getting one of these to make a camper out of. What is on the front of the shelter, looks like a small ac unit and something else next to the ac with supports holding it up...

Drove deuce for the first time. A3/A2?

I think i'll just stick with an A2 for now, considering the cost of the A3. At least thats what I say now, I want that cat though. I just can't justify that much money for it. I'm pushing my luck with the 2k for an A2, wife is ready to kill me now.

Drove deuce for the first time. A3/A2?

Is the top speed on an A3 slower than an A2? What is the CTIS? Yea i've noticed that the cost is twice that of an A2. I think what I like about the A3 it the power steering (smaller steering wheel), and the auto trans. I wonder how the MPG is. Matt

Drove deuce for the first time. A3/A2?

Ok I went to view/drive some trucks at the GL, and now I don't know which one I want. I'm still looking to buy my first one. I got to drive an m35a2c, and a m35a3. Wow the A3 will get you spoiled, drives nice. Now I think I want to hold off so I can get an A3. What are the pros and cons of an...
