    Thanks for the help. Removed air from fuel line and pump picked right up. I never ran generator for more than a few hours, but thanks to hurricane Irma it has been running 48 hrs now without a problem.

    I have a mep803 gen set with aux fuel tank mounted on trailer. Does the tank have to be installed higher than the fuel pick up on generator?
