What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cattlerepairman, When I was inspecting to see if my rear main seal repair had worked, I noticed a small split in my driver side boot. I replaced them several years ago, less than a few thousand miles on them. Never hit anything nor been off road. I don't go into deep water either. Yes, they suck...

Replacing and troubleshooting my rear main seal

Thanks, Cattlerepairman. I noticed in the TMs that one like mine (Hercules engine) isn't shown. what the TMs show is more like what you described. After driving it a bit, it still shows no signs of leakage, so hopefully this fixed it!

    Horn trouble

There is a "slip ring" and "brush" that is on the steering shaft. That provides the connection up to the horn button. I had to replace all of those pieces on mine when it started doing the same thing. I had to pull the steering wheel and the steering shaft out to get to it all. Big mikes motor...

    66' M35A2 in-cab heater/ coolant filter install

I temporarily rerouted the hoses to bypass the coolant filter and the heater worked! I am now going to route the hoses so that the coolant filter is in parallel with the heater core.

    66' M35A2 in-cab heater/ coolant filter install

I have not replaced the filter yet, as I only installed it a few "miles" ago, so I can't answer your question about the drain back. I looked at your diagram. That's the way that I have mine installed, except i have a coolant filter too. I have it installed in series with the heater core. I am...

    66' M35A2 in-cab heater/ coolant filter install

Ahhh. I am having an issue with not enough heat, and I have the filter and heater core in series and folks here have suggested that the filter may be reducing the flow through the core........

    66' M35A2 in-cab heater/ coolant filter install

I'm not following your hose layout...it seems that the filter is in parallel with the heater core but still all of the flow goes through the filter....

    M35A3 dual fuel tank setup

I added a second tank on the drivers side where the tool kit was. I used a regular tank with the in tank pump. I connected the two via a set of check valves to the main fuel line. I set up a motorized valve to switch the return lines properly. With one switch in the cab, I can switch between the...

Looking for picture of front spring pack loaded w/ winch

Great photos. More confirmation that my spring are old and weak....like me I guess! LOL! Good observation on the spring perches! Definitely are going to mill them down for a proper caster angle.

Looking for picture of front spring pack loaded w/ winch

Cattlerepairman, yes I understand the same info, more leafs on a winch truck. i have been told that they are almost flat as well. Just my experience with the shocks not fitting when completely collapsed concerned me. We'll see when i replace them....may have the same issue, but my 50 year old...
