Sf97 6 weeks so far GOVplanet

Seems there is a basis for a fraud action against IronPlanet and /or DoD. HOWEVER my DMV says that as I have paid sales tax (via Iron Planet) and have started the registration process by having the inspection done I "should" be OK to use on highway.

IronPlanet (Las Vegas) told me it's because the Department of Defense does not have any blank forms. I might try ti register again saying its homemade.

    An new M105A2 here

2004 Toyota Land Cruiser with 200K miles. The trailer will stay with the Land Cruiser for desert exploration. Previously had a small "camping" style trailer with wheelbarrow wheels that didn't last one good trip, so the search started to find bigger wheels. I certainly got that!

    An new M105A2 here

Just dragged a 2004 M105A2 down from Fort Irwin to San Diego with a pintle hook at least a foot to low. I read the threads about tire pressure and my manual says 50psi for highway but there were no facilities at pickup and I assumed (I know ass out of you and me) it was ready for road as that is...

    M105 Trailer wiring & build 24v to 12v 4 or 7 pin connection

I did this with the 7-pin adapter using this; MICTUNING Heavy Duty 7 Way Plug Inline Trailer Cord with 7 Gang Junction Box - 8 Feet, Weatherproof but only the left side lights work. The trailer wiring is fine because by swiping leads around I can get the right to work but not in unison...

    M105 lowered.

And if I decide to go with a E/H actuator what psi do I need for the M105A2 weighing in at 2750lb? Having air brakes can I not plate it in California even though it may not be able to pull it with my current truck?

    M105 lowered.

But this is relating to the truck/trailer combo, so does it hamper me getting California plates? Does not the fact it has air brakes allow me to register it in CA even if it is illegal to tow?

    M105 lowered.

Please you explain more about what you did with the breaks. When I bought mine I thought it had surge brakes because I had been looking at some M116's and I didn't notice till I got it that it has air brakes which lead to a hydraulic unit looks like. Don't know if I need do something. Rides...

    M105 Trailer wiring & build 24v to 12v 4 or 7 pin connection

By 7-flat I mean the standard civilian truck round 7 receptacle. Flat I referred to the shape of the pins not being round. Can't think of its right name, sorry again. Anyway trial and error easy enough to do. Thanks.

    M105 lowered.

Mine has air brakes so I don't think I can do that, can I?. I got a junction box attached to a 7 flat as I thought the transformer/adapter too expensive. As I was taking directly to Stuparman I thought a sneaky x-post would get by but my apologies and never again.

    M105 lowered.

Hi Stuparman. I just bought an M105A2 for my cruiser too. Interested in your lowering even though for me in the Californian desert i'm fine with it high. I'm having trouble finding 12v bulbs (changed the 12pin plug to 7-flat) otherwise I got it together. What did you do for lights?

    M105 Trailer wiring & build 24v to 12v 4 or 7 pin connection

Many references to wire numbers but I want to relate choses numbers to COLOR. I cut off the 12 pin and want to know which four colors do I take to my 7-flat plug. The colors I have are White, White with stripe, Red Dark, Red Light,Gree, Blue, Orange and Black. I can work this out by trial but...
