It's been a bit. I'll check that the next time I'm out. I cleaned them when I first got the unit but had to line the fuel tank due to rust issues. It's possible that it picked up some junk from the tank.
I don't have factory filters. The unit has been converted to spin ons for everything.
I am getting less flow than that after the filters bank. The clicking while the line is off is fairly rapid while unhooked from the pump but substantially slower when hooked up to the IP. Return fuel at the...
Yes. This has been a problem since I got the unit running.. it's getting worse though here lately. Yesterday, it was above freezing while doing all the testing and the fuel is treated.
All pumps are original Faucet 24v pumps and all click as they should when supplied power. Roughly a 1/6 of a gallon in less than a minute from the line right after the filters (is there a spec?)
From the response below, it seems like the governor is taking the pump to low fuel instead of full...
Hey all's...
So I've not found the solution to this problem and a new one has come up. Now, it won't hold any load at all for any length of time.
Adjusting valves, cleaning components, etc.. hasn't made a difference.
Yesterday, I was just letting it run with a 4500w load on it. Was gonna...
You must hold the start switch in the start position until oil pressure builds. The starter has a switch that disengages the starter motor once a certain RPM is reached... but holding the main start switch in the start position bypasses the oil pressure and other safety switches.
Are you...
I actually just did a video on this... 1 mic sock filter back to back comparison to my direct drive centrifuge...
Sock filters can work well on a tight budget... but they can't remove water. You can get sub micron bag/sock filters... but they are spendy. Long term, a centrifuge will...
Hey alls...
So I've been into WMO for over a decade at this point. In the last 8 months, I started doing videos on the subject on my YT channel. I test different filtration methods, blends, go over tank and system plumbing, etc.
I've also done some back to back comparisons of different...
Have you tried cleaning the posts with a small wire brush? Might just be corrosion considering you get a voltage reading if you jab the pose hard enough.

You are likely correct. I've just been going through everything that I can before pulling the machine apart.
Did you pull them and take them to an injection shop or did you rebuild and test them yourself?
I'm planning on picking up a pop tester for my Merc. so I may be able to test them...
Now it'll take an 8k load. Drops from 61.5hz to 60.5-61hz... still wont take 12.5k.
Even if I run the frequency up manually with an 8k load on it.. still falls flat. Don't know if it's linkage or what.
It could be so many things causing low power. I might check timing while I'm at it...
After reading the TM, I think I need to pull the main cover and start from scratch on the linkage and gov. adjustment.. just reset everything by the book. I noticed the linkage binding against the pump as well while playing with it.
Looks like I've got some work to do.
EDIT
So... one part...
Ok...
Ran the purge through it today. Ran half of it at no load... half at 4kw load. No real change but the fuel that was returning definitely changed color.
After letting it sit for a bit after the purge, I ran it for an hour with a 33.8a load. Runs smooth and clean. Tried to throw the last...
Didn't get to mess with it. Rain moved in and we had a lot to do as I was surprised with hosting Christmas dinner. Maybe tomorrow if the weather breaks.

Looks very similar to what we do. We batch 55 gallons at a time and run for 40 hours in a loop (pressure release returned to pump inlet instead of the drum).
Haven't had any issues after a few thousand gallons.

No problem. You can get a new one with a lifetime warranty from most parts stores for under $50. Then I use an adapter fitting to go to my hydraulic line that feeds the centrifuge. Works great.
Power steering pump that uses a remote reservoir. We use a power steering pump from a ford focus with a v belt pulley from tractor supply. It'll run the centrifuge at 90-100 psi no problem with a 1/3hp motor.
This is my setup.
Its got a few hours of run time on it now with treated fuel. I'm going to do the liquimoly diesel purge when it comes in (1000ml) and then run it under a load for a few hours.
I'm also going to check the droop adjustment on it.
I'll know more saturday about what is going on. Thanks for the...
