I'm a JD Ag owner/fanboy but I couldn't agree more that JD Green just doesn't work on most anything except farm equipment. But it looked pretty good on their snowmobiles back in the day. :D
I love the matching snowmobile suit and helmet. (y)

Here you go.
The plastic is still clear, no haze and no major cracks/scratches. The screws are oxidized but are in good shape and should clean up nicely...
The gasket is intact (it was not lined up properly at original assembly as you can see) and is still soft and pliable...
I'll...
@m715mike
Does this look like a certain lens you might be interested in? Not perfect but it cleaned up good and is in really good shape. This one is currently mounted as my night-vision safe interior light in my 5-ton.
I actually have two of these light assemblies I stumbled across a while...
Well...According to my Dad (at least when I was a kid), the foremost "natural" way to get rid of weeds was to hand each of my sisters and I hand weeders (basically glorified flat-headed screwdrivers) along with empty buckets and point us to a field and tell us to get to work. ;)
That was his...
Agreed. That can be a fight with anything other than hard surfaces. But I think we have a few things available in the arsenal to take care of that :unsure:;)
And yes, a good year for corn here all things considered...minus a tar spot breakout. Oh, well...normal life. :D
Well...this post isn't so much about what I did "to" my big girl, but more what I did "for" her (and her "little" Deuce sister as well).
I've been planning, preparing and saving up for quite awhile (including deferring a new planned MV sibling addition to next year) and finally pulled the...
@Gypsyman
I've had no issues with South Korean-produced tubes and flaps. I don't think they are any better or worse than the Goodyear tubes from Brazil I've come across.
Over Memorial Day Weekend I did some maintenance on the right front of the old girl.
She got new axle and hub seals, a new boot, a bearing inspection/service and a brake inspection/service (ended up replacing the wheel cylinder as well). Got her all buttoned back up, brakes bled and back in...
So....the old girl pulled it out at the end!!!! YIPPEE!!!
A big thank you to everyone that voted for her! I appreciate all the votes and nice comments from everyone about her.
I'd like to congratulate @Captaincarrier for a tight race right to the end. I hope to see yours back up for MV of...
A few more updates on my old girl...
New rubber pedals:
GPS speedometer (needed after installing the G117's) and a pyrometer (I turned up the fuel just a couple of flats - made a nice difference):
Rebuilt the original, rotted out wood headache rack with fiberglass boards:
Built front...
Just unscrew that valve/cap or remove the dummy coupling entirely from the truck temporarily so it doesn't swing around, take her for a spin and see if that fixes the problem. If so, either ditch the valve/cap, see if you can clean it or just get a shiny new one. If you really want a new one...
Do you have just a dummy with a hole or does the dummy have the little covered vent screwed into it? If so, unscrew the little vent, put the dummy back on and take her for a spin and see.
My issue was that tiny valve got a hunk of crud in it and was plugged. Hit it with some brake cleaner to...
