we have a lot of scrap metal theifs around here, i had to lock up all my old tractor attachments so they wouldnt dissapper, have you tryed looking at the scrap yards close by yet?
a month or 2 ago there was one up for sale here in ws on craigslist for if i remember right 1900. not sure if he sold it or not , but you can search and email him. other then that delks down toward ashboro on 64 had some but he is a little bit high around 3.5/4k someone else might chime in...
i could spend a month just walking around the yards, crawling all over everthing, and i would never get lost, just follow the drool trail to find me.. wish we had something like that on the east coast.

ive seen some of their trucks, every so often or so , they will post one on ebay to sell,. they look great and different all at the same time.. i never saved their ebay name , but like you said they are out of flordia..

how about put a wheel chair lift between the cab and the duel wheels, right where the spare tire goes. cut a slot to fit, hook up power . he can get on the truck and off .. cut a door like (tjcouch) said from the back of the cab . and remove the seats thats not needed/ and install straps or...
i havnt seen that data plate, but if its made of metal , and the info is stamped onto it, just go to lowes and get a small can of kudzu paint stripper... be carefull though anything that stuf gets on it will take off the paint:!:
